He looked fine after the game. No limp that we could see. Hopefully all good

I would be sad if he becomes a better player once he leaves us
Maybe he needs to play in one position and just get good at it ?
Maybe he needs to play with a midfield who can kick to leading forwards. You would not be surprised if Geelong is sniffing

I doubt there will be a better mature age tall available.

Clearly won't be with us. Good luck Josh.
My girls went to GV Grammar with him and he was/is apparently a really nice lad. Hopefully he can he a decent career at a club that'll appreciate what he can bring.

Just didn't fit Bevos style and you have question why we bothered in the first place.

He is turning 25 tomorrow and as we know tall guys take longer to mature, so he should be reaching some sort of peak in the next year or so.

If nothing else, Schache is good depth. I'd prefer he stay and I'd prefer we just play him in one position.

I agree, we need the depth.

Sure. But if he’s not going to be picked ahead of a sack of potatoes sitting in the fwd pocket (Bruce’s current output) then is he really worth having on the list?

I think he should stay and also should be playing this week. But most of all I hope we don’t wast a valuable list spot next year on a guy we won’t play.

Reckon he’d be a good pick up for Freo, Roos, or others with a need for a key fwd.

You make a good point and it really comes down to what role could we see for Schache with us next season and if we bring in Rory Lobb or not.

If Lobb comes into the side then at best we might need Schache as a key defender option, if we don't think there is a role for him there then we should delist him.

The only problem for Schache is that he is a laconic type and just lacks the intensity that Bevo and the MC seem to value.
