    2022 Draft Combine Results

Having the right contacts is a big help

Here are some of the results

    2km

    Name Club
    Binns, Jaxon Dandenong Stingrays 6.00M
    Hollands, Ollie Murray Bushrangers 5.54M

    Weddle, Josh Oakleigh Chargers 6.03M
    Ginbey, Reuben East Perth 6.15M

Weddle is probably the most surprising one from that bunch. That athleticism and determination only boosts his prospects.

Binns is an interesting prospect. He's a perfect example of overlooking what someone does right for they COULD do. He hasn't really put a foot wrong but struggled to gather much attention.

Weddle had a great camp. He also finished in the top 10 for the 20m sprint and the running vertical jump (2nd I think)

Unless a gun slips He is my pick at 11

Ahh the draft thread. The source of eternal hope. Dale Morris mk2 sounds excellent. Can't wait to have him at the opposite end to our Buddy Franklin mk2.

                        Re: 2022 Draft Combine Results

Edward Allan is Ben's boy. Didn't qualify for F/Son at either Hawks or Freo despite winning a BnF at one club (Hawks) and Captaining the other (Freo).

Didn't play much footy this year. What he did play was pretty special. And now he runs a 2.8? Well...he's getting drafted.

I've spoken enough about Jones but his agility time is faster than 2nd by > 2nd is ahead of 9th.

Since all our Victorian boys go to Brisbane, we should adapt a new WA-only recruiting policy. At least (for the foreseeable future) West Coast will have lots of high picks to trade to us to bring them home. I might STILL be a touch bitter btw.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

                          Re: 2022 Draft Combine Results

When Rocket joined the club, it was mentioned that he'd come from the Swans with only two players on the list that could run a sub 3 second 20m, and the Bulldogs had 8 or 10.
The times of the kids now is ridiculous. It's almost a different sport from the 90s.

Van Es has tested well, a club surely pulls the trigger on him. Especially with the lack of KPDs in the system right now.
Munkara was on our radar a while back according to some BF draft watchers.

98 games at the Hawks, they must be spewing.
