Pulled up I think holding his arm after a tackle late in the third. So my response is yes.

I think the tv score has robbed us of a point. We've kicked 5 points to nil this qtr. Should be 74 not 73

24 min gone in last qtr and Southport lead by 21 points - disappointing game after a bright start.

Don’t expect any pressure for spots in the senior team from the magoos this week!

Woeful performance in Q4. No cohesion and no leadership in sight.

Yep! No one wants a spot that's opened up in the AFL.
Toby safe for another week and hopefully get some form.
I would even say Keath is safe.

Disappointing game. No one knocking the door down for promotion. Need an influx of mid fielders in the next draft.

How did O'Donnell finish up? Seemed like he had a strong first quarter then faded?

Re: Gardner, what was the quality of his opponent and how did they perform? I don't care if he didn't take any marks/get many touches, but was he good defensively?

15 kicks, 8 marks. Not bad for first game since 2019

I understand what you want to know...I thought the backline was under immense pressure after Q1 with the way Southport were able to slingshot the ball into their forward half which meant most of our defenders (including Gardy) were caught running around in circles. Generally, the Southport fwd line looked slightly bigger and stronger so he was on a bit of a hiding to none considering O'Donnell was his next tallest support.

I'll be generous and say he defended the best he could considering the pace the ball was coming into their forward line at times.

Just a quick note re VDM - didn't come back on the ground after his knock at the end of the third. Hopefully he pulls up ok - has been unlucky with injury at times.

Buss was also there but he's not exactly much closer to being 'bigger and stronger' so you're not wrong
