FT Dogs 24.17 to 0.4 - bit of a cakewalk for the twos. Pity next week is a bye as they are on a great winning streak. McLean with the most possessions with 33 touches and 3.3 to his name. Lobb with the last goal of the game (5 in all)
There is no sadder sight than a young pessimist.
Well looking at the stats out best players were Lobb, Sweet and Mclean . Not sure how much that means, from those scores it looks like we were playing an under 17s team .
“The Northern Bullants have recorded the lowest ever score in the VFL (0.4.4) and the lowest in the VFA/L since Brighton scored 0.3.3 against Footscray in 1909”

STREAK: Won 6
PAST FIVE MATCHES: def Sydney (62, Tramway Oval); def Collingwood (20, Avalon Airport Oval); def Coburg (32, DSV Stadium); Bye; def Williamstown (30, DSV Stadium); def Frankston (19, Kinetic Stadium).
TO COME: Northern Bullants (Genis Steel Oval); Bye; North Melbourne (ETU Stadium); Box Hill Hawks (Box Hill City Oval); Port Melbourne (ETU Stadium).
SUMMARY: The Bulldogs are on a roll after a slow start to the year and will be confident of getting to September on a 10-match winning streak, although their last three games are all challenging if they are not switched on. Could easily win all four but could just as easily drop those last three and miss the finals, which would sting given how hard they’ve worked to get back into contention.
PREDICTION: 11-7 (8th)
I caught bits and pieces. Hard to read too much into it given the quality of opposition but Lobb and Jones did their chances of a return no harm and are players who can significantly help us over the balance of the season and finals.
Does anyone know why Harvey Gallagher wasn’t playing today for Footscray? He killed it last week against the Swans and thought he might have been in with a sneaky chance to make his debut against Essendon.

Yeah Surprise omission. Hopefully he wasn't injured

Unfortunately Arthur was very quiet after a promising start.
