    Rank your top 6 draftees

With McKay compo we have pick 5, and Walter gets an early bid. So really what I?m saying is who do we draft, by process of elimination of the first 5.

    Eg.

    1. Reid
    2. Walter
    3. Curtin
    4. Duursma
    5. McKercher
    6. Watson

So I think we draft Watson.

Yeah I think it's gotta be Watson we're after. McKercher will be gone.

So you’d pick Caddy, as best available?

Are you asking if I think Caddy is better than Watson?

          Yes. Yes I do.

What do you think Caddy's prospects are as a midfielder? Can he run through there regularly or is he better as a forward?

What do you think of Sanders mjp? Where would you have him ranked? And Watson?

Apologies if I've missed it in other threads, but given all reports suggest we are into Watson and the draft journalists tend to get the top 10 or so spot on in terms of who is actually picked....

What is your knock on Watson?

The highlights I have seen it feels like he is very small, more of a lead and chest mark type, doesn't apply a lot of defensive pressure.

But also clearly very skilled with great goal sense.

                Keen for your thoughts.

ESPN had Watson at 10 in their rankings. Twomey had him at 5. So there's some disparity amongst the experts it seems.

I think what everyone is saying is mjp please give us your phantom draft (nothing crazy just top 50 or so) with a brief paragraph on each player.

Nah just joking but your opinion is highly valued here especially on young talent

Twomey seems to (and is very good at) try and get the top 20 or so right in terms of who gets picked where. Nightmare gives his opinions on the best players. Very different rankings.

Knightmare is gone. ESPN got someone else (not sure why). But Twomey has said his is a ranking and not a prediction. Though I agree he tends to get the order right so his rankings might be protecting that.

Chris has stepped back due to health reasons and wanting to focus on some other interests but still posts from time to time.
His replacement is more than okay.
