After watching all the vision and how neat and clean Sanders is I can see why would pick him with Libba/Macrae coming to the end very quickly. I just wish he was more a pick 12-15 selection rather than pick 6 but could see him becoming a better player then Dunkley at AFL level.

I think I can be pretty happy with any of the top 7 the more I see of Sanders.

I cant see how we could go wrong if we were to land any of McKercher, Watson, Curtin, Sanders or Duursma. Power did the right thing to move up the order even if it did cost us a future first rounder. Its over to the footy department to deliver now.

Yeah, I'm probably least excited by Watson to be honest. He's a ripping players, but the more I see of a couple of the other potential candidates at our pick, I'm inclined to lean towards those guys that exhibit some real valuable midfield traits. I liked the Sanders footage - Good overhead, good agility in traffic, neat skills and can really hit precise targets. Also clearly can win his own ball and is strong in contest. He could easily fill a primary role in the midfield and a second role in either end of the ground too.

I'm really eager to see what's left this trade period. I don't know why, but now I'm feeling as if there's something more to come.
I wonder whether the spooky talk in media about JUH's future, might hasten some very difficult salary and list management discussions in house over the next few days.

Is there a chance the repeated mention by Barrett about expecting either Geelong or Hawk's to come hard with an offer for Smith has some basis in reality?

I would hope it's not the case, and we've already advanced salary management plans in place for re-signing all of Naughton, Smith, English and Jamarra.
