He and Buss seemed to lift after halftime.

I still struggle to see an AFL player in Clarke, but he tries hard and he’s an elite smartarse.
      I like him. Has "moments".
I think he's very 'small forward' in that he'll struggle to stay in the play at times, but nail 1-2 moments per game. I thought his goal late was as classic a crumbing type goal as you could get, just made something out of nothing.

I don?t dislike him, but he?s opposite to Bedendo in a way, he has a defined role, probably the only one he can play, but is not overly athletic and I?m just not sure the traits translate to a higher level. Happy to be wrong, he works hard and would be fun to see him in the ones, but I?m a sceptic at this point.

Liked his attack on the football in the air, played with a nice bit of dash in defence. Didn't struggle with the speed and didn't gas out either.

Lobb, Garcia and Harmes were our major contributors for the day . Lobb kicking 5.2 and 20 hit outs.
Smith had 23 hit outs but probably lacked a bit of the other stuff . We struggled when Lobb wasn’t forward with Melbournes defence cutting off a lot with taller marking power.
O’Donnell played well after half time I thought.
Buss has to perform a whole game.

Freijah was the one that impressed me, he just looks very well organized for a first year player and wouldn't suprise me if he played some AFL games this season, Garcia really should be in the ones, Lobbly looked like that tall kid playing under 18's and too good at this level, The Dees could use someone like Lobb right now.

Clarke might be that player that plays better a level above and has a bit of tip rat Milney about him, doesn't mind an easy Joe The Goose but he does seem to work hard, thought Arty played a little selfish at times and pressured somewhat but just doesn't do enough and too fumbly, really want him to succeed.

Harmes played well as he should do at this level but Garcia better, Bedendo like Arty just doesn't do enough, looks like an AFL player and has the tools to make it but like Arty, really needs to get more involved.

Down back liked Busslinger's game especially in the second half same with JOD, certainly had a tall backline with Buss, JOD, Keath and Crofty, JOD will be back in the ones sooner rather than later imo, Keath looked good but like Harmes he should at this level, Croft will be better for the run and showed a bit, love his run.

Whichever perceptions Lobb carries around as a senior footballer you can't knock how he's applied himself at the lower level when he's gone back.

Seems like a match winning performance today and is keeping the pressure on which is good.
                          TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

There was one moment when he was running into goal 5o metres out and had a ping for the goal while 25 metres out all by himself was young Spicer. Arty missed. Ironically the roles were reversed earlier and Spicer instead of blazimg for goal hit Arty on the chest with a pass. Arty kicked the goal.

Buss finished with 21 possies and 7 marks so really lifted his game.

He kept fighting and did some good things. His second half was much better than his first which was pretty poor. He’s still a ways off being a senior option, possibly not this year. Needs to work on his one on one and build some strength. I was reasonably impressed with Jefferson for Melbourne who was his direct opponent mostly. Good lead up forward, average kick though, lucky for us.
