When you see how dominant this VFL team is. What does that say abour the club?

Do we have great depth? Is our VFL program really professional? Are we good at recruiting non AFL listed players to our team? Is our player development of our young players ahead of other clubs? Are we just having good luck with not that many injuries?

It's probably the sign of a healthy list and giving the coach and the assistants so many better players to select each week.
Last year we trained at Skinner and wore a heap of injuries as a result. We also had no home ground.

Very strong win in the end, ran away with it hard. Polts best on ground and Busslinger very good when the Giants were still in the game.

Bedendo presented well and finished well.

I know Spicer has some fans but the amount of times his concentration lets him down and he spills marks is really poor.

Two guys with the first name of Phoenix must be a first.

Happy Days can?t wait for Harmes to hit Spicer up on the lead.

A really good second half by Bendendo. He has something to build on.

Poulter, Scott and sanders the best for mine. Buss not far away.

Also things didn?t quite go Jones? was today, but I don?t think it?s far from turning. His work rate is pretty good and his starting to get in better spots.

Agree Bigdog. Those high marks from Jones were fun to watch.

McNeill was good too.

Really hope Bedendo puts in some more good games. Love him to have another chance at senior level.

Is it also maybe an indication of how the kind of players we've recruited and developed who are at or maybe a bit above VFL level but aren't quite AFL level either (Poulter, Baker, McNeil, Scott, etc)

There looks to be some good talent coming though (Buss, Clarke, Sanders) but not a ton outside that.

He's had 11 shots in the last 3 weeks which is like, kinda halfway to being a dominant forward.

He's got the opposite problem of McNeil and Jones, he usually doesn't get near it enough but he makes the most out of his limited impact.

Just checked out the ladder and how good is it to see Us, Williamstown and Werribee in the top 4 of the VFL.

Bedendo is an interesting player, love his athleticism and his pathway to the AFL is inspirational.
Seems to play his best football as a deep forward but I wonder is we can find another spot for him.

I barracked for Willy in the VFA days and love seeing them do well.
