I thought he was a fish out of water in that first didn't know much about the team. Kicked a nice goal but we'll have to wait for a few games I think. Didn't see much of the speed and tackling.

Unfortunately all three of the Brisbane recruits made an impact straight up. Without those three I think we still get over the line.
I was happy to see Beecken go particularly well, just a shame it was against us.

I would say that the big difference is that they had three talls over 200cms and then their midfield was driven by a player with nearly 200 games experience.

So I went today . Stood behind the bench , had a chat to Cleary after the incident he says he is ok.
Bevo walked past and mentioned we are running out of soldiers.
Brian Lake was there and seems to go to Whitten oval whenever Caroline Springs arenr playing , gave an insight into what Brisbane were doing to win re their backline.
Spicer is as quick as anyone but my god his disposal is horrid.
Busslinger is just so much better than anyone else at times.
          Scott is a class above.
The two new players showed a little but it’s hard coming into a side and knowing no one, give them a few games.
Smith is impressive to me, big body and better than Sweet.
Injuries hurt us in the end.
Had a chat to facilities manager he said the stand would be ready at end of the month. I think it’s pretty awesome.

Has Smith done enough for a debut next week if Lobb doesn't come up. It doesn't sound like Buku is a given (Bevo's presser).

I think the question should’ve been whether not much from Smith is preferable to not much from Lobb?

                Close run thing.
