Not sure I have ever seen a side over possess the footy like our vfl side especially in the back half. Players first instinct is to look backwards or laterally.

Nice weather with a slight breeze. Pretty reasonable 1st qtr. Scott was good although turns over a bit. Sanders and Garcia getting a bit of the footy. Harmes going well. Arty ok. Coffield was good as well. Cleary with a couple of grabs.

Sanders and Harmes with 12 possessions each that qtr but just 3 kicks between them - reflects the ‘scrappiness’ of the game so far.

Even at this level Coffields lack of athleticism and questionable decision making stands out.
Cleary looks to have zero AFL qualities.

Clarke taking a mark on half back and hitting up a teammate with a 50m pass may be the most AFL thing I’ve seen him do.
