    The Best VFL Full Foward?

Which if the legendary VFL full forwards was a favorite of yours to watch?
For me it was a tie between Jim "Frosty' Miller and Fred Cook.
Miller was a very good kick and poor old Freddy used to get roughed up all the time.

Anyone else that you rated highly?

I loved Frosty. Even as a kid I hated Port, so I instantly became Pro-Dandy. Willi were in 2nd division and therefore never on the tele so they were a bit out-of-sight, out of-mind.

Don't forget Joe Radojavic and later on Jamie Shaw.

Reno Pretto was playing 2nd division and kicking bags of 16 every 2nd week.

Ian Fairly was also a very good forward for Willy before being picked up by North and playing out his AFL career as a defender, his last kick in the AFL was a goal in the Granny against the Swannies......awesome.

There was something about Fred Cook that I really enjoyed and his off field side was interesting as well

I enjoyed umpiring Jamie Shaw. He was as strong as an ox.

I hated him when he played. Got more soft frees than Lloyd and would shove out the FB often and get away with it.

Yeah thats what I liked about him, somehow he made something from nothing and was successful.

Does anyone remember Brett Fitzpatrick who was FF for Port for a couple of season around the time that Fred Cook finally gave it away? I think he played alongside of of Freddie as well.

Does Chops Rickman count, if only for his cult hero status?

Yep. Great full forward of the lead, mark, kick a goal variety.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

There was a bloke named Sladdin at Sunshine, i think he kicked 100 goals the year they got promoted.

Fred Cook. I use to watch him play and wonder why he wasn't playing in the VFL.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
