With Williams, Everitt and Lake looking like being our main Tall backman why not let Tiller become the forward he was recruited as?

He should have been the 3 year gap filler between Grant coming up in my opinion.
I keep wondering the same thing. With the Werribee alliance it may have been due to Pods being such a dominant VFL player, but I'm not sure about at Willy. I remember Tiller going ok in his debut & a few games after as a forward, at least he will keep presenting. I would like to see him get another crack as a forward at senior level.

Harbrow is another that has suddenly become a backman, and although I like the way he goes about his football I still think he has alot to offer the forwardline.

I wonder if Boumann will get a run forward, he seems like another who is being developed down back.

It's Rocket's super-secret super-master plan. He's going to load our team up with all these gun marking forwards, but hide them in the backline until he's got a whole bunch of them, then unleash them all in the forwardline all at once, thus overwhelming teams no end.

This is also why he's teaching all our forwards to tackle, because he's moving all the old marking guys like Johnno and Hahn and Welsh to the backline, and then tell the midfield guys to turn around 180 degrees (because their forwards are now their backs and their backs are now their forwards).

It will have the amazing effect of ending once and for all all this nonsensical talk about the Dogs' lack of a KPF, and also make it easy for the printers of the Footy Record as all they have to do is turn the current team list upside down.

If he is performing well as a defender is there a need to move him forward? We need forwards more than defenders but at the moment all the reports are indicating that he is doing well in the back line so I would be happy if they kept him there. He seems to lack a bit of confidence and a number of good games might just be the right remedy.

Perhaps, but the leap from solid Willy 2nds backman to AFL quality backman in a side boasting Williams, Lake, Everitt, Hargrave and Morris for the forseeable future is a tough sell. That is assuming Tiller doesn't stay in the backline, and he's done well there so far.

If he can't force Wight out of FB/CHB at Willy, are we wasting his development there?

For God sake I hope Jones gets a run forward next year. If not, we may as well give up drafting forwards altogether because there's clearly no intention in developing them there.
