Love the look of Jetta. Very lively, quick and with great skills too. Body size would be a concern but he seems to have plenty of talent. After Rioli's first few seasons, I think a club (Eagles?) would be looking closely at taking him in the first round.

One player who I think is extremely overrated is Allen Christensen. I'm suprised people rate him so highly. I've played with him and against him for years and I really don't think he's worthy of the reputation. He's obviously got talent with pace, solid hands and decent skills but for mine he doesn't do enough to warrant a Top 10 selection.

Jetta > Christensen by a mile IMO.

      I agree, TBB.

I'd love to hear from mjp and get his thoughts on Jetta, particularly after his recent run of good form.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I agree he doesn't do enough to be a top 10 selection, thats why I rate him at our pick. Fits what I think we should look for in this draft in a pacy mid with a touch of silk to him. Jetta, on the other hand, looks as if he would like to stay in WA, and I see him as a similar selection to Ballantyne last year; highly rated, but only available to two teams.

Indeed Jetta is super impressive, the only thing that concerns me is his attitude regarding where he wants to go. There are a whole host of kids who would love the opportunity he is about to get so I say don't abuse it, Lewis, and be thankful that you are chosen at all.

It's hard to see him going in the top ten, you'd think he'd be more of a 11-18 pick given his age, therefore it may be even harder for him to go to the WA clubs - excellent. He'd be a wonderful pick up for us, a top up player for next year with some leg speed which we seem to be lacking of late.

Like last year was the draft to get the talls, this is the draft to go for smalls. There is enough talent in the tall cluster of Grant, Boumann, Jones, Cordy, Roughead and Williams to ensure a healthy spine in years to come, I'd like to see some pace added to the side and Jetta has that in spades.

Should that really be a strong consideration?
If he isn't mature enough to handle the move interstate then he might not be able to handle AFL period. I understand the lure to stay in your home state but clubs shouldn't be put out off by what he has said.

If we're bold enough to go after a top 10 pick by trading out one of our senior players, we could take Talia with our first pick and Jetta with our second.

Shores up our future back line and adds instant pace to our midfield.

              Oh, to dream.

Hopefully they're not put off. Comments like those can be insightful into a player's character though, and if I were a recruiter I would be investigating further into how much he wants to stay home and consequent effects on his confidence to play at the highest level elsewhere.

There seems to be a lot of talk about trading all sorts of senior players, but I really hope they don't because of the potential division of an otherwise extremely tight playing group.

Talia and Jetta would be beautiful though.

My mate Sean Tighe who played for the Jets this year is a pretty good prospect. He has also received a letter from the Dogs and has been interviewed by our recruiting staff. He is also a Doggies supporter

I have seen him a number of times this year and there is plenty to like about how he plays his footy.

Yep. Brisbane has also sent a letter/interviewed him.

He should be contacted by a few more clubs as well. Whilst Daw has captured the media and the fans imagination Tighe has has a good season and has done well to put his name forward.
