APS School Football - Round 10

    SC 12.11.83 def XC 6.1.37
SC Best: Holland, Jones, Seed, McKinley, Woods
Goals: Jones 3, Jamieson 2, McKinley 2, Sansom, McDonough, V Can Den Broek, Seed, Woodard

    SKC 7.10.52 def MGS 4.6.30
SKC Best: T Liberatore, J Cachia, M Wallis, J Castricum
    Goals: J Castricum 3, T Liberatore, D Conway, J Salopek, N Cooke

Good to see Liam Jones amongst the goals for Scotch.

Libba and Wallis continue to dominate for St. Kevins - with that win they also clinched the APS premiership. Good stuff...
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Comrade, quick question. From what I understand Wallis and Libba will be available for the 2010 draft. Do they have another year of private school footy left?
If so due to them not being in the under 18's system how much will that hold them back from having an impact in the AFL.
More of an In Bruges guy?

They'll also play a lot of TAC Cup footy, as well as having their progress closely monitored by the Bulldogs, so I don't think they'll be hindered as much as Jarrad Grant was when he spent most of his draft year playing for his school team.

        Boring same stuff Comrade
Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023

Thanks for that. Hopefully you are right.

Is that a younger brother if Steve Salopek (Port Adelaide) ? Not a very common name!

              Yes it is.

Supposed to be a very good player too.

Similar to his brother I'm led to believe - half back/midfield.

He's too young to be drafted this year, and is ineligible to be picked up by GC as one of the 17 year olds.
