APS School Football - Rd 11 (Final Round)

    BGS 12.9.81 def SKC 10.12.72
SKC Best: Grinter, Conway, Wallis, Griffiths, Cooke, Liberatore

    No goals by our boys.

Disappointing way for St Kevins to end the year, but they were still crowned APS premiers for 2009.

    Well done Wally and Libba.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

So they will be back to Calder now?

Yes, although there is an APS vs AGSV representative game this week which I guess they could play in.

I'm hopeful that I'll be able to see some Cannons action during the remainder of the year - especially finals when the quality goes up a notch.

Where are Calder on the ladder and are they a flag chance?

They're at the lower end of the top 8, but have been hurt by the fact that most of their guns are private school kids - when they have a full team they're easily a top 3 team and can take it up to anyone.

If they manage to scrape into the finals (which looks likely), they could give it a massive shake.

Kicked 3 for Scotch last week and was one of their bests.

Just to confirm that Mitch Wallis is indeed playing for the APS representative team against AGSV this weekend (Sunday, Etihad, 9am). Tom Liberatore is not in the selected team.

Shouldn't be hard to convince the darl that doing a spot of shopping down at the Docklands for a couple of hours while I watch some footy is a good idea.

You aren't half bad, but are shops even open at 9am on a Sunday?

At least by getting there early she will beat the rush of mid-morning/ lunch-time shoppers.

I salute you, the Brand smart shops at New Quay Docklands is a great place to pick up a bargain.

I'll be heading down too; one of my mates has been named the vice captain for the APS side.
