Re: Staker gets blessing to leave Eagles
He's been discussed on a thread or two here. I don't think he would be much more than a depth player for us but at 194cm and a fair bit of experience I can understand why we might want to have a talk to his manager.
He would need to come cheap though.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool" -

I know we have discussed him previously, but I thought now that its official, we may want to have a fresh look.FFC: Established 1883

Re: Staker gets blessing to leave Eagles
I think in all seriousness we can only have one of Hall or Staker. Like Sydney choosing Lockett over Craven (Knowing Craven would leave, which he did). I think we know what the right decision is here. It's not Staker for mine.Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023Comment

Bit of a Ben Harrisson type for mine . In between kpp and flanker type, very laconic also.Comment

Re: Staker gets blessing to leave Eagles
That's my take, he's a bit like Everitt in that he doesn't have the physical presence to be a KPP. If Everitt is fringe, Staker is probably behind him. He apparently told Woosha that he wants to play midfield anyway.Western Bulldogs: 2016 PremiersComment

Not exactly what we need, but depending on the price could be a handy additionComment

Re: Staker gets blessing to leave Eagles
What others have said, we have Everitt who has a bigger upsize than Staker imo, not really what we need, i could see him at Sydney with them losing tall forwards, he could work in well along side Jesse White.Comment
