Re: Williamstown vs Bullants - Second Qualifying Final
I was very impressed with Everitt at CHF and on the wing against Collingwood
I wonder if he will get to play this role at Willy rather than play as a backman (has been named at HBF)Comment

Eades typically not been prone to knee jerk responses but it he has to treat each game now like it's the last one and if any of the guys really stand up tomorrow he will have to consider them.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Re: Williamstown vs Bullants - Second Qualifying Final
I'm assuming in a similar finals setup to AFL for the VFL. If so its a good thing that williamstown are playing next week and don't have the qualifying finals winners week off.Comment

Was discussing that very subject with a few fellow posters at the Willi game. Allows Williams to have a run which is a good thing.Comment

Re: Williamstown vs Bullants - Second Qualifying Final
What a lacklustre performance, with only Callan and maybe Wood having anything close to a stand out game.
Pretty disappointed in Everitt - after yesterday, he'd have known that a good showing would've put him right in the mix for a promotion against the Lions. Unfortunately, he barely fired a shot. Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.Comment

Re: Williamstown vs Bullants - Second Qualifying Final
On the news it was said our season (Williamstown's season) is over?

Re: Williamstown vs Bullants - Second Qualifying Final
Being in Melbourne I took the opportunity to see the Williamstown game.
Easton Wood started off terrifically well, but got caught with the ball a few times.
Timmy Callan was very good and Willi's best player.
Jarrad Boumann was pretty good with a couple of good marks and provided run out of defence.
Tiller tried hard but did not have a great impact.
Everitt just did not get involved took one mark but was fairly lack lustre.
Addison was ok and showed pretty good endeavour. He also was as good as anyone with his ball use.
Reid was hard at it but nothing seemed to work for him. Got pinged for HTB a couple of times and did not seem to get much help from the umpiring. Left the ground hurt at the start of the last and did not see him return.
Stack continues to look capable but did not do enough.
O'Keefe was barely sighted for 3 quarters but got a bit of it in the last when the game was over.
Roughead was ok and did pretty well in the ruck and I thought he matched Warnock reasonably. Certainly tried to compete.
Skipper was throwing himself into the game and trying to inspire his team mates. Did find the job beyond him giving a big reach to the Bullants ruckmen Jacobs and Warnock.
Overall a very disappointing performance. Williamstown struggled to get the ball and regualarly handed it back to the Bullants. They also struggled to kick goals from set shots. The Bullants just had more run and used the ball better. The Williamstown backline was continually under pressure and just struggled to get the ball past the centre.
Jason Cloke lacks the ability to execute and turns the ball over with regularity. Ben Davies got plenty of it but his disposal was also poor. In the flesh I realised that Dylan Joyce should be riding trackwork at Flemington.Life is to be Enjoyed not EnduredComment
