It wouldn't be the first time that a coach has made the wrong call on a player! He is at he wrong club under the wrong coach it would seem which is staggering when you consider how well he has performed.I find it hard to believe that Leon Cameron would not rate Guy as he is a smart natural footballer like himself.It may have been so much different if Leon were Willy coach or even the Dogs coach.
I think the issue is Eade for whatever reason was reluctant to reward Guy for his efforts or give him a chance to prove him wrong.While rewarding lesser performed & lesser players.Not picking players on form is a very dangerous precedent.IMO.

It has been proved that Gotch rated him as he was given the Coaches Award.

His disposal & decision making are a class above the Vfl at 19 so to say he has found his level at Vfl is very premature.imo TCD.

What is Fantasia's opinion or stance on Guy TCD has he been offered a contract or been put up for trade officially?

If we are to trade him it has to be for a totally different player like a really quick midfielder.As this seems to be a reason he hasn't debuted yet. Otherwise i would much prefer Guy for potentially 10 years rather than Aker or Eagle for 1 year!
If fitness is the only reason we would trade him that is crazy as he is only going to get fitter & stronger.

Well done to Skipper thoroughly deserved winner. Hope he can end up at another club. He like Guy was written off by Eade early days.

I work with a Werribee player and he believed Werribee were going to try and get Skip.

No not all, Rocket is doing a great job & if he drafts wisely may well win a Flag for us in the next year or 2 he would shoot to the top of my xmas list then!

I think i might shoot something else when that finally happens! lol!

I just find the whole Okeefe snub bizarre based on what we have seen & heard from people at Willy & the Kennel.He can seriously play,know-one has ever questioned that.
Why would we throw him out of the kennel before we see what he can do?

I just hope it doesn't come back to bite us on the bum.

There's a lot more happens behind the scenes then on the Oval when it comes to keeping players.


A Bulldog player has told me that one of the above mentioned players is (was?) a big Party Animal and didn't allways present himself in the best condition to recovery sessions.

NOT SUGGESTING that's why anyone would be delisted, but as a very casual observer these things wouldn't help when it comes to making the cut.
