No problem, do you want a separate thread for that or have it just posted here?

I didn't want it to drag on but I suppose 3 or 4 rounds won't make a lot of difference.

GVGjr, is it worth putting a thread in the main unleashed forum so that it might catch a few others' eyes?
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Do we want to stick with the current Clubs and nominated people or do we want a random draw?

Whilst it's scheduled to start on Monday evening, I'll set up the thread and add a few tips to keep the thread moving on Sunday evening.

Just some tips that I will add to the Mock Draft thread are:

                - Whoever has Melbourne and Richmond etc can start naming their players beforehand.

                - To keep this moving, name your selection when it's your turn and post it straight away.
You can then write up a brief (or not so brief) reason why you selected that player in a separate post within the thread. This will really speed up the process in later rounds.

                - There is plenty of mock drafts posted around the internet so by all means use these resources if needed.

                - At the end of the draft, collate you selections and provide an overview from your nominate clubs perspectives.

If anyone can think of other tips to help this along, list them here so I can add them to the official draft thread on Sunday evening.

The State League forum gets a lot of our registered people visiting but feel free to start a thread on Unleashed linking it to this thread.

I think sticking with the current format is a little easier. Personally I know some lists better than I do others and I am sure (for example) Griffen#16 is better served at drafting for an Adelaide side than myself. Especially as we're doing a 3-4 round draft.

I was reluctant to enter as I really didn't know who was who in the zoo, but now, count me in.

AFL website has a great draft thingy, where you key in relevant data & it selects players for you to chose.

As an example, I selected Western Bulldogs. I then clicked midfielder, then clicked medium height with the following skills: Kicking Ability, Handpassing Awareness, Pace & Endurance & it gave me the top 10 with those qualities.

Might make life a bit easier.

If a recruiter is not available for all or part of the process he should give his selections to a stand in recruiter and have a number of back up selections in case the one he wants gets taken earlier.

Yep, having a list of players in order of who you want first is a good idea to help keep it moving.

Are we still aiming for tomorrow night as our starting point?

That's still the plan however, those who have Melbourne, Richmond and Fremantle can kick kick off their selections before the start time.

I'll start the thread this afternoon with the rules, draft order and who's assigned as the recruiting manager.
Can somebody update the current list?

I'm happy to take any of the sides currently without a recruiting manager but I'll nab Hawthorn as well.
Jasper contacted me before and said he can take any left over side. He wouldn't mind the Tigers because he will be on the forum again this evening and if Happy Days kicks starts his selections we can have a few picks completed before Monday evening.

If TCD takes over Fremantle (dirty job but somebody has to do it) and I take West Coast (or vice-a-versa) then we have the early order sorted out.

Anyone interested in looking after two sides?

Griff, I think you looked after both SA sides last year so perhaps if there is no more takers you can do double duty again? The Bulldogs Bite or Doc might as well.
