Shaggy is obliging this request so far this season. He has racked up enormous credits in the bank and should be safe as houses for a few weeks yet, but his form this season has really hurt our flexibility down back. On a positive note, was great to see Morris at his absolute human glove best on Friday night.

Everyone was bagging Grant and look what he has done. I think given an opportunity like Grant was, Boumann might suprise a few people! Grant finished up in the Willi reserves last year dont forget!! From what i've seen and heard he's been playing well!

Not unrealistic, although I hope not as it will mean we have lost a few more games. Perhaps if there was an injury as you mention, he could get a look in.

I'm not sure you quoted the right post there. No one here is suggesting Boumann is a spud as the reason he is unlikely to get a game. The facts are Boumann is a tall, lean defender who to get a game has to be picked ahead of all of Williams, Lake, Morris, Hargrave, Harbrow, Everitt, Addison and Gilbee to be part of our back 6/7/8. Considering the only player out of them who looks anywhere near being dropped is Addison, and he's tagging, it's going to be very difficult for Boumann to break into the side.

It's not about Boumann being crap, because we don't know what he'll be like. It's about our side not having a spot to put him in. We're finding it hard enough to find players to take the fall for guys like Johnson and Minson as it is.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

And we are not playing that well either. An unusual predicament.
