Tiller, Reid, McHarg, Muir and Grossman are not named in the reserves so we can assume they are in the seniors.

Daniels, Prato, Panos, Mulligan, German, Cravino and Sing are fighting over the final 4 spots.

As four in that VFL team are playing AFL this weekend and we can only have a maxiumum of 12 AFL listed players this week as it's Frankston, only two of Daniels, Prato, Panos and Mulligan would be eligible to play this week in the Williamstown firsts.

Yes, 4 players listed in the Willi team will move into the Bulldogs team due to the extended bench.

              Thank you Mantis,.

I really hate bad communication from the club when players are not playing and not listed as injured. It really isn't that hard to let the supporters know.

On Tiller, I wonder if he will get a recall in the seniors this year? We are already at the half way mark in the H&A and it doesn't look like it for him.

in fairness to Tiller he has been injured all year, if he puts together a decent run of games you never know.

                      Reserves

5 Bulldog listed players on the field for the Williamstown reserves today.

Callan Ward - Obviously the Seagulls were working to a plan today with Ward and he seemed to be on scheduled breaks each quarter. He was a solid contributor over 4 quarters and his skills stood out especially in the first half when the conditions were slippery. Seemed to be even stronger in the 2nd half which would suggest that he is ready to move into the Williamstown seniors next week. Kicked two goals for the day.

Christian Howard - Looked a little out of sorts very early before stamping his skill on the game particularly with his trademark kicking. This resulted in a number of forward thrusts for the team that resulted in goals that he had direct influence of. He has a tendency to want to get out by himself and when given space can be very damaging. In seniors football he might not get that much latitude. In the modern 'European handball type chip it around' game I can see his kicking skills being particularly effective with the lateral switches defenders often employ. He played mainly as a defender although did spend some time on a wing. I'm sure forwards would like to have him spend more time on the wing so that the ball can be delivered to them more frequently with is kicking.

One knock on his game is that he has a tendency to fall to ground at contests which is obviously a sin especially for defenders.

Jason Tutt - Had a very good game today and played in a variety of positions around the ground. He was extremely damaging with his well weighted kicking and it was a good sign that his skills and decision making stood up in the slippery conditions of the first half. His run and carries through the middle were most prominent of his game today and he kicked a brilliant goal on the run as well. He kicked 3 for the day. 2nd efforts in the close contests were also a feature.
I think he started as a defender before spending time on a wing and even in the centre square.

Eddie Prato - By far the best game I have seen him play and his fitness has noticeably improved. His leaping, tap work and marking was quite good although his kicking and some decision making was a bit below average.

Matthew Panos - Was very quiet in the first half in fact he was poor before exploding particularly in the last quarter and kicking at least 6 goals. He really benefited by being vastly bigger than his opponent and the ball spending about 75% of the last quarter in the Seagulls forward line.
His marking on the lead during this time was quite good. The Dolphins were quite dispirited and a few players took advantage of it.
10 Goals would suggest that he was one of the better players but I certainly didn't see it that way.
The better Williamstown boys consisted of Lockwood, Sing, De Sousa, Young and Cartelli.

Massive win today and a real percentage booster.

Reasonable but not a real strength. Might be better to gauge in a couple of weeks.
