It's certainly not a strength of his but I'd also add his mobility won't win the coaches over either.
I think there is a chance he will improve in the last half of the season because I'm not sure if he is as fit as he needs to be.

Mobility was a big knock on Pods too. Do you think that Panos is one of those guys who just kicks goals because he knows where to run and how to position himself, ie a natural footballer?

Pods has a good spring whereas Panos doesn't. I know he has kicked a lot of goals and people are getting excited about him but I saw the same type of excitement about Sehart Temel from the Cannons last year because he hit a purple patch in the finals and he didn't get drafted primarily because of his lack of mobility. Based on his goal kicking exploits a lot of mock drafts had him being picked up in the 2nd round.

There are some similarities between the two boys and Panos will need more time.

Temel kicked a big heap of goals because he was a foot taller and 20kgs heavier then everyone else. Panos got goals on talent despite his physical limitations, Temel got his goals because of his physical maturity despite having the lesser talent.

Against Frankston when Panos kicked 10 his opponent was 181cm and 77kg.
Temel had some talent but mainly not the agility or mobility required. The hype after a few hauls that Panos is getting is similar to what Temel was getting.

6 in VFL seniors is a step up on anything Temel has done.

I'm from Ballarat, was great to see Willy play there! First time i've seen them this year. Was great to see Johnno back, as well as Reid and Ward! Sorry for the lateness as i only just got access to this forum!

I thought Johnson played OK, the media made it seem like he dominated. Started off really well but faded out of the game which was expected i guess. He did work really hard though.

Ward and Reid are both guns. Havent seen Reid up close since last year, he's an absolute unit... Both went in really hard all day, Reid looks like his a little bit behind Ward in terms of fitness though.

I thought Addison played alright, he played on Corey Jones pretty much all day and did a pretty good job i thought. Jones got a couple of very soft frees (including the match winner) Although would have liked to see him get more of the ball.

Everitt went alright, took some nice grabs up forward and around the ground. Still would like to see him do more. Seems like he isn't going at 100% most of the time, but i think that's just how he plays..

Jones looked very dangerous early, took some great grabs and finished off with some great kicking. He also looked dangerous late in the game, however slipped at crucial times twice when he was on the lead!

Hooper played really well, work hard for his 4 goals. Kicked some very nice set-shot goals from 45 out.

I know his not on our list but how old is Grossman? That bloke is an absolute jet. Played half back and when he got the ball noone was catching him. Was the best player on the ground IMO. Very quick and skillful.

Stack would be a logical choice but I might go with Brodie Moles.

If Johnson was back this week, I'd prefer Moles at Subi to Stack.

As usual they offer us nothing more than non-commital media speak. I'm getting really annoyed with how the club treats it's keen followers, don't take us for mugs and give us fluff that doesn't say anything, either give us a proper review or don't do it all all!
