Re: Rd 15 - Williamstown vs. Bendigo Bombers (ABC TV)
My observations from watching on telly are
* Josh Hill is the most frustrating guy alive...for me personally, he ranks with Pat Bowden as someone destined to not make the most of a heap of talent....thankfully for Josh, there's still time to prove me wrong
* Hooper looked good out of the middle, but didn't do a lot inside 50..which is where you'd hope he'd do his best work given the senior team's need.
* Faulks looks a footballer
* Minson was solid - played on physically smaller opponents so I think we got what you'd expect from him.
* Seeing Howard step back and take one overhead with some traffic coming was a good sign that he doesn't lack courage. As has been widely posted, has a good left boot.
* Eagleton was ok...not banging the door down to get back in
EDIT - Boumann didn't get a lot of it, but did make the most a some opportunities up forward, nice soccer goal in the last.
Pot kettle black time - J Cloke has put on a few up in Bendigo..though can still take a decent overhead grab.

Reason: Boumann was worth a mention

So it is actually an eye injury? It's not the orbital bone or something like that?
I had an eye injury about 2 years ago. My opponent went to slap the ball out of the air missed and whacked me in the face. His fingernail lacerated my eyeball and had to go for stitches. That was the most pain I've ever been in. I hope that is not what has happened to Mitch.
