    The opposite - they couldn't grab him when he got the ball, looked great rebounding from defence. His evasiveness was on display.

    If he found his way onto our list/rookie list next year I'd be pleased. Used the ball well and competed hard.

      I've always thought there was a touch of 'poor man's Griffen' about him - and I mean that in a positive way.
      Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

        I liked what I saw of Howard. Gilbee better start looking over his shoulder. Addison I thought was fantastic. I love the way get goes about his footy, really hard. Everitt was good up forward, he was always amongst the think of it. I thought Tutt was good sweeping out the back line. I don't think Hill played, but I saw him sing the song at the end, ??.
        I only caught the second half though and the game was already over.
        They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!
