But think about the media coverage we would get from him winning the GF sprint by 30 metres!

It doesn't have to be a Willi player so the other one to consider is Michael Stockdale from Casey.

The knock on him would be his size as well.

I have to say though I love his lightning quick runs from the back half too bad he normally shanks the kick.
He is just about the worst kick in the VFL. Nothing can be done about that.

Faulks is the man, and will have Shaggy looking over his shoulder.

I agree although I'd be tempted to go with him this year.

Maybe be could get him to start on the entire barn early in the pre-season and by the time it's round 1, he should've graduated to the doors!!

Elite defender who has transferred across from the Casey Scorpions. Major signing for 2010 season.
If he is only around 21, 22 years old then I would take him as there is only an upside as he will mature in the next few years. We are going to have to replace Hargrave in the next few years so he can be groomed for his role.

If he keeps bombing away under the slightest bit of pressure, he'll have two years to get used to the wind patterns at Pt Gellibrand.

He was playing injured, so I should cut him some slack but an injured ankle shouldn't have such a huge influence on your decision making.

Hopefully he gets back to his best next year because he does play his role well when in form.

It can if you're not moving too well and you think you're about to get caught.

That might not be long enough!

I must be out of the loop, what was the injury he's been carrying?

Yep, good point but he looked alright when moving in space.

Shaggy has always been a bombs-away-type but he had it under control in 09 in particular. With a good pre-season and full fitness, he should be able to get back to that level.

Wouldn't that be the same for Faulks? They could employ a Krakeour style strategy where they pick up Faulks then try to trade him to us, or someone else, for a draft pick/other player.
