    Sanfl 2011

As you do, I was at the Glenelg vs Sturt game yesterday (round 1) played at Glenelg

5 minutes into the last quarter, Glenelg were 47 points down.

10 goals in 20 minutes, bingo bob, 3 goal win...

Jordan McMahon had a lazy 10 possessions in the last quarter..

Jprdan was given 5th best player.

Norwood beat the Port Magpies by a few points, and apparently Eagle was one of the better players in that match.

In the 3rd match, West Adelaide (coached by ANdy Collins) surprised all after being the kings of the ultra floods for the last 3 years by kicking about 20 goals (normally a months worth) and beating the Josh Francou coached North Adelaide by a few goals

The Eagles play SOuth Today, with 1 or 2 ex WBU players involved.

I had something on yesterday, and would've been pretty reluctant to go down to AAMI for Port's "One Club" celebration anyway, but was very pleased to see their parade rained on, twice.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Well, Norwood carried on their good form with a smashing of Sturt. Young Aish kicked 5, Eagle kicked 4 and some newer/younger players apparently went alright.

T&T's mob went down to the Magpies.

      West Adelaide smashed Centrals.

      And, South beat North.

Norwood looking like flag certainties at the moment.

Indeed, I think Norwood are the faves at the moment, and Bassett must be looking at Craigy's big chair!

Yep, the Bays were poo and lost by 2 points to the Port Magpies, first time they have beaten us for 5 years

I took some nice photos tho

Great game of SANFL Footy at "The Parade" kast night, scores level half way thru the last quarter then Glenelg kicked the last three goals.

Brad AGnew in his third league game (played u18's last year) shut down Nathan Eagleton.

Jordan McMahon one of the better players for Glenelg.

Great effort from Glenelg as both our FB and CHB were missing. we had two first gamers and about 5 or 6 kids that have played no more then 3 games.

Situation normal, Central Districts look like being the best team again next year.

The Andy Collins coached West Adelaide doing surprisingly well (as are the Eagles). Hooray that West have finally abandoned the uberflood and now try and kick goals.
              ,
Then a pack of inconsistent from good to crap teams (Norwood, Glenelg,Port) ahead of

Stuggling Sturt, North and regular spooners South

              This guys going well

Eagle started like a house on fire but has been quieter with the hard tag.

Well Glenelg Sacked their coach Mark Mickan last night. Possibly a bit harsh as led us to a GF three years ago, minir premiers 2 years ago, and top 3 last year, but we have lost our last 5 finals.

Currently sitting 5th, but going backwards.

Kris Massie to take over for the rest of the year.

Must say, was pretty surprised to hear that. Hopefully it doesn't inspire a Glenelg turnaround.
