Tutt was good, its bloody hard to tell him and schofield apart. Kicked a really nice goal on the run. His outside run was invaluable today. I'd expect him to be close to a game in the senoirs very soon

        Thanks guys.

Was very impressed with him last week, hopefully he gets an opportunity soon.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Good job Slim, not much to add, other than Sam Reid really does have the ability to lift his game for the big moment and drag his team with him. He lifted dramatically in the last quarter and almost got Willi home, it's too bad we probably won't see it at AFL level because he is an impressive on field leader.

Reid not good enough or too many injuries or too the same as what we already have? I like him and what he brings.

A bit of all 3 for me, but he does have that certain something about him.

Watching him the footy the other week, I thought to myself, I don't think I have seen a worse action

Hopefully Tutt plays next week. Sounds like he deserves a game.

You sound a little frustrated GVG. I've noticed you've mentioned this aspect of his game a couple of times now.

Are the coaches instructing him, or ignoring it?

I haven't heard the coaches address it with him but it's been noticeable to me and I'm specifically watching out for it now. Twice in the first quarter when the Roosters had control of the game he jumped in as the 3rd man and spoiled the marking attempt by his own taller team mate. He's 179cm and unless he is a lot better grab than I have seen I expect him to more of a ground level player and if he is going to contest a mark, he needs to make sure he's targeting beating the opposition player not his team mate.

He's got the ability to be a good player but I'm not sure he is playing team orientated football at the moment.

                        Any reports on Markovic???

SlimPickers....wasn't included in your full report

Especially with Mulligan going down with an injury and Lake possibly not playing again this week

Marko was ok, he was beaten a couple of times on the lead. Probably had 3 kicked on him. Played deep defence most of the day, certainly commands the troops in defence. Was he a stand out? Probably not but he was serviceable much like his early seniors

Great observation GVG. I went to the Willy game against Collingwood and German made a point of it. Definitely agree from the very little I've seen of Schofield. He seems a little man who is obsessed with proving he isn't. Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it's not.

                              Thanks SP

Marko is quite slow, although from what I saw of him in the seniors at times his occasional lapses of concentration and playing behind his man are the cause for goals being kicked on him- given that he is not a pure athlete like Williams for example if he looses concentration, and gets a few meters behind his man, he ain't going to beat his man
