That's all well and good for East Perth to have ex-Tigers spuds in their team. At least Willy has named players that have played some quality AFL football or will play quality AFL football in the near future.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

That's a strong list of Richmond recruiting blunders, surely even a social observer of junior footy could have recruited as well as Richmond's full time professional.

        East Perth are going ordinary.

Their best players are Josh Smith (who everyone knows about and is really their barometer), Brendon Lee (inside mid) and Gary Moss (who runs around across half back).

Those looking for players with the potential to play AFL footy will probably be disappointed - East Perth tend to recruit from interstate rather than develop their own - but Rowan Brooks (State 18's 2010) and Shaquille Mackenzie (17yo who missed this years squad - still eligible in 2011) both played last week. Brooks is a good player who is criticised for his leg speed whilst the knock on Shaq is his size.

Clutterbuck and Wulff are others to watch.

If Willi are serious EP wont get within 10 goals of them.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Another entry in the "What Were They Thinking?" Hall of Shame... with a name like that, he'd want to be really good.

BRIAN Lake's season is not over despite failing a fitness test before Williamstown's Foxtel Cup semi-final against East Perth. German said the dual All-Australian would miss tonight's Etihad Stadium clash because of calf tightness, but should play for the Seagulls next week.

Justin Sherman (groin) and Ayce Cordy (back) will be rested.

Confirmation of Lake's calf injury. Also Sherman and Cordy out, Cordy still seems unable to string together consecutive games, hopefully that's something he can overcome late this year and with a full preseason, a week in week out starter next season.

Shermo trained today at Whitten Oval. Wasn't an overly strenuous session, but he was there.

Addison is looking good, plenty of touches. Minno working as the big target up forward has 2 goals.

Minson dominant up forward with a couple
                        Vez lively
                        Howard using the ball beautifully
                        Panos very good at CHB
DJ getting plenty of it and using it well.

I do like the clash jumper Willy are wearing, all yellow with a blue sash.

Good hands by Libba this quarter, Minson has concrete hands, dropped about 3 marks that he should have swallowed.
