Getting nervous! WRFL U18 Division 2

One of my sons plays U18 Division 2 and his team has been undefeated all season.
We have a bye this first week of the finals but starting to get nervous!

I saw the first game of the year at Deer Park, a 1 point nail biter. My son was running the boundary that day.

Mine didn't play that day, was still coming back from a meniscus tear.

They didn't get as close next time round!

As long as you're not playing West Footscray, good luck. Especially if you're playing those wankers from Braybrook

              The top five are:
              Point Cook
              Deer Park
              Albanvale
              Hoppers Crossing
              Wyndhamvale.

I hope your son tears it up out there!

Up against Deer Park next week after their 7 point win over Albanvale. Albanvale kicked the first 5 goals. Half way through the last quarter Deer Park trailed by 3 goals but finished all over the top kicking the last 5 goals of the game.

                    Thanks for letting me know.
We would have gone but had to work. I was wondering how it went
They played each other last week and it was a draw, although deer park kicked an awful lot of points!
We are scheduled for Saturday morning, not sure if it is at Avalon or Crofts yet.

                          Just found this thread..

Meshe1969 I was there this morning! Random!

My mate is the assistant coach of Point Cook, so went down to support him and the team. Great first quarter and really good fightback when Deer Park came at them in that third quarter. (Shame one of their players had to start a biff, glad he was red carded)

Was great to watch, will be getting to more of their games next year.

What number does your son wear?

My son is 28, he wears Barry's number but plays in the back line. He's worn 28 in two teams for Point Cook that have won a Grand-final.
The coaching team this year was well above average! Really respect the guys.

Will be interesting to "see" the team next year when half go up to seniors.

Ah ok nice work by him and the team today. They deserved it after an undefeated season.

Yeah that will be interesting next season.
