Does anyone know why North Melbourne didn't let any of their listed players play for North Ballarat on Sunday?

Was there any left? North made a lot of changes to the senior squad, I just thought it would have been because of that.

Yep that's what that's what was being reported, and Port Melbourne plays the winner of North Ballarat vs Northern Bullants.

Any idea what day that would be on? Haven't been to a Williamstown game yet this year, would be good to get to one. And will the Grand Final still be played at Etihad?

Not sure if the bests are in order but i would of thought Minson with 35 disposals and 37 hitouts would of been 1 or 2, noth 5th.

Anyway it would good to know how many were handballs and kicks. The more kicks he gets the more you would say he has been involved in general play and not just giving off a short handball from monstering his opponent in the ruck.

He was clearly BOG.

I guess there would have been more kicks than handballs fairly clearly including a couple on his own on the wing and a few deep in defense.

It really was a top-notch game, he did the lot (except kick goals, I suppose)

Personally I've never been able to follow the official bests in the VFL, it seems to be quite random to a degree. Minson was clearly best on ground, Hill wasn't particularly good, and I didn't think Gilbee was in the best 5 and certainly wasn't better than Panos.

The games from last weekend have been up on iview for a few days now and the vfl games usually are, so I'd expect the prelim final and probably grand final (assuming contracts allow etc) to go up there, usually on the Monday afterwards.
