Cravino isn't going anywhere! According to him anyways. Rumor has it that Johnson maybe be retiring though. Work and family commitments to weigh up.
They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!

There was also talk that Jolley was considering his options too. The commitment required for VFL footy was starting to take its toll.

Brett Johnson has left to coach Montrose, and Ben Jolly has moved to the O & M league. A lot of experience departing Willi this season, but on the positive side the Bulldog's young players should get a lot of opportunitiesnext year.

A couple of times, he is a massive unit and looks bloody strong. Mote Hudson then roughhead. He will go ok.

I wonder why Port dropped him off then with Brogan retiring, must have some flaws.

                    Two Assistant Coaches Revealed

Williamstown Football Club today announced two coaching appointments for the 2012 Season. The Club is very excited to announce the appointment of Andrew Mirams as Senior Assistant Coach and Marcus Drum as an Assistant Coach. Mirams, as Senior Assistant will look after the Club's Midfield whilst having a major role in the planning of training and opposition analysis. Drum, a former Cat and Docker, will look after the Club's forwards on match day whilst having a major role with the Liam Picken Development Academy.

Mirams comes to Williamstown with a wealth of coaching experience having spent the past two seasons involved with the Port Melbourne Football Club as their Senior Assistant Coach. Prior to this Andrew has coached junior interleague sides as well as having a vast experience of coaching junior football sides. The Club is thrilled to have gained someone of Andrew's calibre and is excited about what he will offer the Williamstown Football Club in 2012.

Marucs Drum joins the Seagulls after announcing his retirement from football due to persistent injuries this year. Drum was selected at Pick.10 in the 2005 National Draft by Fremantle before being traded to Geelong at the end of 2009. Unfortunately Drum spent more time up in the coaches box than he would have liked due to his injuries, however this has fuelled a passion for coaching. Last year, due to injury, Drum had the opportunity to hone his coaching skills with Geelong's VFL side and we look forward to him having a positive impact on the Williamstown playing list in 2012.

The Williamstown Football Club expects to make an announcement on the appointment of our Development Coach and High Performance Manager shortly.

Used to work with Daniel Bass' mother - he's a former basketball player, who was good enough to get a scholarship at a decent college in the US but finished up wanting to play footy. Used to play in the same squads as Pendlebury.

Hope he goes alright with Willi, not sure what went wrong (or didn't go right enough) with the Power - I had thought he was on their main list, but I was clearly wrong on this.

A quick trawl indicates that he was going pretty well until falling off the radar a bit later this year. Given that Peter Rhode delisted him, he might actually be a very good get (just like Hudson!). Not actually advocating for the Dogs to get him, but will follow his time with Willi with interest.

Might have to change the name to Williamstown Giants next year.

Willi could quite conceivably have 10-11 ruck/key position players available for them next year.

                          Campbell & Cordy as rucks
Markovic, Mulligan, Talia & Austin as defenders (maybe Jack Frost as well).
Panos, Hill, Roberts, Redpath and maybe Skinner as forwards.

They did seem a little top heavy at times last season, next it will be a lot worse.

Do you think team balance at Willy could damage development? It would be pretty hard to get them all on the park at once regardless of form.
