Good to see some familiar names like Sherman DJ returning.

Interesting that Panos is named at CHB; perhaps the coaching staff feel he doesn't offer enough up forward. He certainly didn't have any influence all pre-season up forward, so I can see the merit.

Still think Skinner should play round one. He's done more than most of the other forwards up there, given limited opportunity too.
Skinner may still play round 1, hopefully he plays well tomorrow. Maybe Willi feel there is no one else for CHB? I don't mind if he nails CHB, can always do with another tall back

The coaching staff may be giving him an opportunity to demand selection. They might have said to him "Zephi play well at Willi this week and you're in for round 1. Give us a reason to pick you".

Possibly, he trained this morning and moved well.

Panos at CHB isn't such a bad idea, especially if he isn't getting involved up forward. I thought he looked solid against North when shifted.

Wish I could get down to have a look tomorrow.

Here's hoping Skinner plays a blinder BAD

Possibly. Either way, he's obviously right on the cusp which is a great credit to Zeph's hard work.

Dickson played pretty well down at Geelong so I am guessing he's ahead right now. It will be interesting to see if we decide to play Cordy or not.

I'm excited by the young and upcoming options we have.

He was buggered down at Geelong so some of his disposals were a little 'tired' in the second half, and he couldn't always offer repeat efforts -- but I realy like Dickson. He moves well -- he really does avoid tackles well, he attacks the contest hard and his skills are good.

If he can build a good endurance base, he's going to be a good player IMO.

Dickson trained well this morning, so I assume he'll play round 1. I would've thought if he was on the fringe he'd play tomorrow. All 3 ruckman trained, so again I assume they'll all play, unless either Cordy or Roughead are having their loads managed so hence not playing this week. It was a pretty solid session though so my guess is they're both ok at the moment.

                  All speculation I should add.

I would love that He has the presence about him that you feel something is going to happen we he flies for the ball, or scoops it up.

Imagine a forward line with Grant and Zeph both playing well, they would be hard to match up on.

Do you think Panos is in the frame to replace Williams at CHB in round 1? Along with Marko, Lake and Hargrave if WC go tall?

Thanks for the info. I have him on my SC/DT bench Hope he will get to play a lot this season.

The selection of both Panos and Skinner with Willy would seem to indicate that they wouldn't be in our first game senior line up. Markovic deserves to be the replacement for Williams at CHB. I would have concerns going in with three ruckman, Minson, Roughead and Cordy against WCE. I like the X factor that Skinner provides and would have thought him to be worth a try first up against the Eagles. I hope he does well for Williamstown as he has the potential to lift an ordinary senior forward line.
