Re: Round 4- Williamstown vs North Ballarat
Dickson taken off at half time to go to Etihad. What does this mean? Has someone hurt themselves during the day? They wouldn't have even started their warm-ups yet. Maybe a virus? The Angels have the phone box. Don't blink!Comment

Re: Round 4- Williamstown vs North Ballarat
I only saw patches of the game but IQ'd it so will watch it properly later, bit I'm really pleased with Tom Hill. For a kid who's not overly big yet, and actually looks a bit gentle, he's got some agro about him, good to see.Western Bulldogs: We exist to win premiershipsComment

Re: Round 4- Williamstown vs North Ballarat
My two bobs worth
Our bigs were impressive
Hill- first time I'd seen him play looks a likely type ( nice kick)
They're all mobile, so hopefully we'll find a player or two
Johanssien - very good, great dash and carry and just needs a little more polish
Wallis - along with Goodes BOG for mine. Must be in the side
Sherman- very good, need his run in the seniors
Tallia- likely type and will hold down a key post
Pearce- looks the type to fill the Gilbee role
Agree with Rhys-Jones on skinner, he needs to find some urgency or it's going to be a short AFL career.
The injury to Tutt is the other disappointment.

Re: Round 4- Williamstown vs North Ballarat
Just some observations.
Sherman butchers the ball when kicking for goal because he's always trying to do the exciting things rather than what is needed. He's got plenty of talent but he's also very wasteful.
I hope we stick with Hill as a forward and support ruckman. He was very good last week and good again this week.
Johannisen made some errors but I like the dash he provides and he's a neat kick of the footy. With his pace I think he can transition to a small forward role somewhere down the track. He can improve some of his defensive work
Campbell gets a lot of hit outs but they aren't as effective as they should be. A player of the future though.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Pearce, good pace, balance and awareness. Like him alot.
JJ very good all day. Has gears but is still slight. I thought he was nearly best behind Goodes.
Tom Hill looks good and likes the niggle as already stated.
Campbell needs to be fitter but has talent.
Zeph. Not good today, looked tired.
Wallis very good and great attitude. Seemed to handball alot.
Austin very good first half but faded.Comment

Re: Round 4- Williamstown vs North Ballarat
I totally agree with you and it frustrates me no end. Having ego is often a good attribute of a successful player, but when it controls your actions as it does in Sherman's case it's bad. Some dumb guys are really smart footballers, Sherman isn't.Western Bulldogs: We exist to win premiershipsComment

Redpath improved as the game progressed but he looks as though he is still finding his feet at Willi.
Delivery into the forward line was pretty average all day too. There was a fair cross wind but not that much.Comment
