To be honest, I looking forward to this write-up a lot more than dissecting the effort of our senior team.

Agreed. Only caught the second half of today's senior game, and it wasn't pretty.
                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Re: Round 15- Williamstown vs Collingwood

Went along to Willy today ad was generally impressed with what I saw.

                    Bulldog Performance

Grant- Played the majoriity of the game on the wing and quite wide at that. Was clearly under instructions to run the lines and link up through the midfield. I thought he stuck to his task well and contested well (physical tackle etc). Set up team mates by hand a lot, his kicking was patchy but his decision making was generally good. Has put on a little size which was noticeable.

Williams- Started forward and was like a fish out of water misjudged leads and struggled. Moved back in the second and third qtrs and was much more comfortable and assured. I'd still like for him to play a couple more at this level before a senior recall.

JJ- Really good performance used his speed to advantage and disposed of the ball well. His continued improvement is very pleasing.

Vez- played in defense and was good early. Had a solid performance, some of his kicking was very good and some a little sloppy. Still learning to defend and use his body but think he will get another crack in the first soon.

Roberts- defended well, and IMO should be in line for a senior call up in the coming weeks. Has very good closing speed and reads the play well. Played on a couple of giants and performed well.

Talia- not a great day for Michael but did play on Tarrant for a fair bit. Was a little lethargic at times and my need a rest soon.

Re: Round 15- Williamstown vs Collingwood

Jones- Is a bloody good footballer at this level. Played on Nathan brown and had a very good game, he presented well, marked the ball strongly and set up well. Probably could have kick four or five but nevertheless was one of the bests for me.

                      Redpath- Non entity

Skinner- handled the ball really well in the wet. Flashes in and out of the game. Played forward and in the ruck. His leap is spectacular, hit the scoreboard but wasn't great.

Panos- Started down back to accomodate Williams as a forward and played quite well. Proceeded to swap forward when Williams went back and also played well kicking a couple. He is such a pure shot for goal and deserves an opportunity at senior level IMO.

Slim, longer term where do you see Roberts playing? Key position? Good to hear JJ is still improving.

What size is Wall for Willamstown?
More of an In Bruges guy?

Fletcher is a KPP, I've been most impressed at how he has performed this season at Willy. Was recruited as a forward but did go back in his junior days also. Do like the idea of him and talia playing key posts in defense.

Wall is a big guy but not convinced he is a ruckman. As all the dogs listed rucks seem to be playing in the first he was put there out of necessity. Don't think he would fit a need at the dogs.

                            SP,

                            Did Moles get a run?

Couldn't imagine that he would be dropped as his performance the previous week was pretty good... well that's atleast what I heard.

I read on Williamstown's site that Moles was a late withdrawal with illness.
