Good to see Sherman not just slack off when he is demoted back to Willi. Maybe he is allowed to play his natural game in the VFL (or he isn't good enough for AFL)

He is probably pretty keen to show a few clubs he is worth trading for.

It's probably a bit of each, though BAD he's easily good enough for the AFL, in the right side.

Sherman's played 140 games, is 25, and his best footy was played as a 19 year old 6 years ago. He hasn't improved at all in the past 3 years, and if after 8 years, 4 coaches, and 2 clubs he hasn't ever managed to find consistent form at AFL level then the problem is him.

Sherman has shown that he is clearly a better player than his 2012 season. As you say he is 25 and that is really prime time for a footballer.

There is absolutely no doubt that he has issues and some of those are with his style under the current coach.

He will play good football again, just not under Brendan McCartney.

He was in some pretty reasonable form at the start of 2011 before the racism issue derailed his season.

He was also going ok before our season fell apart this year too... He is obviously a frontrunner which is the type of player B-Mac hates.

Can we rescue him or do we have to find him a new home?
I think we still need him but I heard earlier in the year that he didn't handle the news that he would be a sub well and that wasn't highly regarded by the coaches.

BMac also keeps talking about having great people at the club. From what I've heard, Sherman doesn't quite fit that category either.
