Williamstown v Bendigo in Elimination Final

[Bornadog]

The Williamstown Football Club will play Bendigo in an elimination final on Saturday 1st September at North Port Oval, Port Melbourne. Gates will open at 12.30pm and the game will commence at 2.10pm. Please note that this game will be televised on ABC TV.

Williamstown are the home team side.

Ticket prices for the finals series are as follows -

$ 10.00 Concession

Children under 15 free

Hopefully it doesn't rain too much between no and then or it could be an ordinary spectacle.

I can't imagine the North Port oval recovering too much with the little sunshine we have had.

Based on that side we can judge that the bulldogs bench has 3 definites in Cooney, Jong and Smith with the fourth to come from Veszpremi, Roberts, Skinner abd Panos, all of whom are named in the VFL.

I think Skinner will be the other one that gets a game.

Having been overlooked all year it is hard to believe that Panos will be in the final 22. I think his papers have already been stamped and will be delisted at season's end.
