Re: Preliminary Final- Williamstown vs Port Melbourne
Looks like Hooper back from injury is preferred over Veszpremi.
Maybe Ves has an injury. If not it is an indication that his career as a Bulldog is over.

Vez played pretty well last week, I very much doubt he was dropped.

Would you think we are holding back players or they are simply not getting picked due to needs of the team?
Needs of the team. They complained last year that the grand final was played with too many Bulldogs listed players that had little experience and were too young. I tend to agree with them, even though those listed players got them to the granny.

Re: Preliminary Final- Williamstown vs Port Melbourne
We have given them Greenwood, Talia, Roberts, Panos, Hill, Moles and Hooper.
If i was Williamstown, i would certainly not be happy with these players. Greenwood and Talia are ok but very young and experienced as is Roberts. The others are handy VFL players but Williamstown need a ruckman. They have been using Wall and Hill as pinch hitters. They would of want one of Roughead, Campbell or Cordy to play.
I get the feeling the dogs have spelled the majority of their players and basically provided the non-essentials or the ones who are still playing for their spot on the list (or who are gone).
I think the dogs are doing the right thing in terms of managing it's list but it wouldn't look the same from the other end of the table.

Roughead and Cordy not eligible, Campbell recovering after ankle surgery.

Surprised people thinking more than it is, the eligibility list is pretty easy to find. I'm sure Willy would love a Campbell, Roughy and Cordy running around today.
