Incredible come back after 48 points down in the third quarter and 29 points down in time on in the last. West has shown he can coach and almost got Werribee into the Grand Final.

Be great to see him back at the dogs sometime in the future.

If he can coach, why was his team down by 48 points in a preliminary final in the first place?
Did they come back due to the opposition taking the foot off the pedal?

There is something to be said to have proven champions in Buckley Worsfold Hird and Voss back coaching their former clubs.Let's hope that West has great success with Werribee and that we might see him back at the WB sooner than later.

Did they come back due to the opposition taking the foot off the pedal?

The Cats got a roll on and kicked 4 in about 4 minutes which blew out the lead. In my opinion they didn't take the foot off the pedal.

SEN guys were lamenting West being unable to stop the bleeding.
The ABC guys were also commenting on the failure in the coaches box to stem the flow.
Werribee have played well in patches, yet in some games have been blown off the park quickly.
If we're looking at VFL coaches Gary Ayres fills the breach.

There is something to be said to have proven champions in Buckley Worsfold Hird and Voss back coaching their former clubs.Let's hope that West has great success with Werribee and that we might see him back at the WB sooner than later.

The problem with having past champions coach is if they bomb it's hard to get rid of them without pissing off half the supporter base.

and what I am saying it seems he can coach, all be it in the VFL. May help him in an assistant role and then whatever happens happens.
