How good a player can Billings be? Really liked him down at Alberton in the Champs earlier this year and sounds like he had a pretty good game today. Saw the last few minutes (very exciting finish) where he took a good mark and very casually spotted up an open player who had an easy set shot.

Why is it up to Fox to cover it? They do AFL games, ABC does the various state league games and no one does TAC games.

It was patchy game for player performances. Membrey and Graham were particularly good for Gippsland and Franetic and MacRae for Oakleigh.

I probably would have had Franetic as the best on the ground.

He's terrific. He spotted McMillian who slotted through the goal that drew them level.
MacRae kicked the final point.

This was a cracking game and well worth the trip in. I'd currently prefer to watch TAC games than VFL ones.

MacRae's reaction was gold, went from being very disappointed with the behind, to hearing the siren go and being ecstatic.

Been covered in the past. The amount of interest in the next generation of footballer.
Would have thought a channel dedicated to Football would have covered it.

They cover AFL games not VFL or TAC games and pay a healthy price to do so.
I think it should be up to the AFL to request them to do it and probably pay them to cover the costs.

If people are genuinely interested then a quick trip into Etihad or for the interstate or country fans a visit to the sportingpulse website would have given them the coverage.

I think it's drawing a long bow to blame Fox footy for not covering todays game.

Membrey is about 188cm, Hall was 195cm.

Good player but perhaps a touch of Matthew Panos about him.

TBH I don't like either comparison. Once he goes to the combine we will see if he has the endurance and pace to play across half forward.

He's certainly too strong for a lot of the boys at the TAC level.

The difference is it's a National competition not a state one. I think the AFL would want them to cover it.
