VFL bests are pretty subjective. I wouldn't take his name not being included as confirmation he didn't play well. I mean, he may well have but that isn't definitive.

I see Cordy kicked 3 goals. How did people who watched the game or went think of his game. I see Howard was not in the best - be must of not played well.

Thats probably a bit simplistic. I doubt Smith got in most bests last night, but he played very well.
