    Williamstown Round 7

    Peter Jackson VFL Senior Teams

    Williamstown vs. Bendigo Gold
    Saturday 25th May
    Burbank Oval at 1:00 PM
    Williamstown
    B Lockwood Talia Austin
    HB Iaccarino* Sing Charleston
    C Masters Carr Howard
    HF Wallis Markovic Tutt
    F Hunter C. Wood McConnon
    R Campbell Cross McCallum
    Int Prudden Prismall Anastasio
    Grant Pearce Hoghton
    Nastasi Veszpremi Casley

    AFL Victoria Development League Teams

    Williamstown vs. Casey Scorpions
    Saturday 25th May
    Burbank Oval at 10:00 AM
    Williamstown

    B Stockdale Critchley Redpath
    HB Hoghton Casley Johnstone
    C Woods Hetherington Wyatt
    HF Nastasi Deery Conway
    F Gallucci Grant Anastasio
    R Giles Greenwood Prudden
    Int Norton Christodoulou Ball
    Symes Mead Dorgan
    Burgess Bench Flack
    J. Morris Huts

It would seem from those line ups that Grant and Prudden are stuck in the Development game as there are 11 Bulldogs in the senior team without them. That also indicates that Ves and Pearce from the extended interchange will get a senior game. Roberts is missing. Perhaps an injury.

We knew what we were in for this year though, thankfully when fielding our own side next year we won't have such issues. I really can't wait for 2014 in that regard, there simply must be some correlation between having your own side and developing youngsters. For mine, it's one of the biggest reasons Geelong and Collingwood continue to stay at the pointy end.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

I agree, it will be a huge bonus despite the additional costs. I just hope that we don't get to the point where every club has their own stand alone team as it will seriously dilute the quality of the competition.

It's strange this is a Saturday 1pm game but isn't the ABC TV game of the round.

We knew what we were in for but it doesn't make it right.

Great idea would be to have them playing for Bendigo against Williamstown.
Nice if they got senior experience.

The Development side would beat the Senior Gold.

                      Any guesses for the margin?

Willy like picking on the weaker sides so i'm guessing 135 points.

Markovic will probably kick 5-6 goals.

Fletcher missed a golden opportunity to improve his goal stats this week.
