Apparently Wheeler finished strong to be the best on ground.
Picken, Addison, Marko and Cross amongst it.

I hope Tutty has a good second half of the season. It might be make or break for him. I would like to see him succeed as he offers us the outside speed we lack.

Yeah he hasn't been that flash at VFL level has he.

How's Prismall going? I noticed he was in the best players. Is he someone the we might look at picking up for next year (rookie or late draft pick)?

It was out of Goodes and Prismall in the last draft, we made the right decision. I don't see how bringing in Prismall next year will help.

Re: Williamstown v Box Hill - Sunday June 30th

I didn't cop the game on Saturday night (went to the Geelong Freo one on a personal level, I'm guessing no one else on here saw it so let me assure you it was the worst game EVER) so I went to the game yesterday out of guilt.

Picken and Cross were two of the best players, but you probably could have guessed that.

Roberts, Vez and Jong played reserves, which was seriously ridiculous. Roberts may have gotten a game next week had he played ones and say what you will about Vezpremi but he is at the very least a stud at VFL level.

Addison looked seriously good; had a number of contested grabs and really did everything you could ask of someone in his role (high hf). I think he'll be back next week.

After seeing this game, Grant needs to be promoted. His results on paper are underwhelming, but he gets into fantastic positions/space and VFL-lifers like Jolley and Wheeler aren't good enough to reward him. I lost count of the number of times he found serious space on a lead only to have the ball kicked wide of him. He may not do anything at the next level, but at least we (theoretically) have the talent to properly reward effort there.

Markovic's goals were both joe the gooses, don't worry, he won't be getting promoted (at least I hope not).

Tutt kicked a ripping goal and got a bit of the ball, which is a good sign, as he really needs/needed to work on his ability to get cheap ball.

As an aside, it was a really quality exhibition of football, probably the highest standard second lever game I've seen (might be something to do with it not being at Williamstown)

Thankyou for the report. Did you say stud or meant dud

I really believe we need to give some of these blokes a go and see what they are capable of. Based on reports surely one of Tutt, Addison, Grant, and Roberts will be promoted in the next few weeks.

                                How did Pearce go?
