    Williamstown v Frankston July 27th

    Williamstown Seniors v Frankston
    Saturday the 27th of July
    Burbank Oval, Williamstown
    2:00pm

    B: Wood Austin Sing
    HB: McCallum Cordy Howard
    C: Prismall Cross Lockwood
    HF: Wheeler Markovic Hunter
    F: Campbell Roberts Bench
    R: Wood Jolley Lower
    Int: Charleston Greenwood Carr
    Pearce Anastasio Conway
    Young Jong Addison
    Stringer Veszpremi Witkowski
    Stockdale

Some interesting selections with Wood (and I assume it is Easton) in the back pocket for his first game at this level since his hamstring. Also Cordy named at CHB and Roberts at FF. All of the Bulldogs listed interchange possibles bar Macrae are named, so 3 of those will not be at Willi. Still leaves 14 Bulldogs to squeeze in.

    Williamstown Development v Frankston
    Saturday the 27th of July
    Burbank Oval, Williamstown
    11:00am

    B: Charleston Casley Anastasio
    HB: Witkowski Masters Jong
    C: Woods Veszpremi Hoghton
    HF:Greenwood Deery McNamara
    F: Pearce Conway Gallucci
    R: Symes Stockdale McConnon
    Int: Hetherington Dorgan Giles
    Wyatt Johnstone Flack
    Ball Mead Critchley
    Burgess Christodoulou Polizzi
    Nastasi

4 Bulldogs listed for the Development game and all on the extended interchange for the Senior side.

Perhaps 2 or 3 will play in the Development game.

It's worth a try, Cordy can't mark so can't play as a forward. His complete lack of athleticism probably rules him out of defence also but he's a better chance there.

It's a surprise if Williamstown actually give them a chance to play in those positions.

Can't wait until we get our own VFL team.

Cordy did play back for a time in 2011. His AFL debut against Port Adelaide was also in defence.

It may just give him a chance to be taken to the ball as he certainly seems to not have the confidence to lead and demand the ball.

Playing back might give Cordy some confidence, which would be good, just one part of the puzzle though.

I'd rather him play ruck but Willy have Wood there who won't be with our affiliate in 2014. Campbell 1st Ruck, Cordy backup in 2014.

One day at the QEO here in Bendigo I saw him tear the Bombers a new one playing ruck. I watched in awe and thought we had a real fine player. FWIW I'm pretty sure he played in the back half a bit that day as well. Memory as always is sketchy. I haven't given up on Ayce, I think he can still make it.

Watched him at training on Tuesday. His kicking has a bit more penetration, and he turns well for a big man. I felt more confident after watching him at training.

                  I'll second that.
They'll probably stick Stringer in the development league!!
Looks like they've gone backwards with all their Willy listed players.

                      2.14 - typo?

From reports it's very very windy.

Williamstown up by 36 points, Stringer with 2 late goals to give him 3 for the game.
