    What about the logo?

I know the club has a 'retro' range of clothing with the old 'standing Bulldog' logo. I'm resigned to the fact that the club will be launching a new WBFC logo next year... Just thinking that the VFL team will be differentiated as Footscray, so why not use our retro FFC VFL logo? Could be a good marketing opportunity for a touch more revenue.. (Though I'm no marketing expert..)

Either the standing dog in the shield or the standing dog with the flag in its mouth. Just a thought. I'd be interested in hearing others' opinions..?

    Re: What about the logo?

I'm with you Webby, I'd like a retro Footscray logo for the VFL.

Footscray VFL should be a Mecca of our tradition IMO, as well a grooming the players of our future.

Getting the old Footscray Logo back sounds good. I have a hoodie with the Footscray retro logo.

Like your thinking but ultimately it would appear to me that keeping the logo common between the two sides makes most sense. We are not looking at two separate clubs, or entities. The Footscray Football Club will be fielding two teams. Names are differentiated for branding purposes and league environments but the identification really should be as close to the mark as as possible.

Both should have FFC on the back and the club logo on the chest.

Agree with this. One club, two teams.
