Geelong starting to dominate - They lead by 50 points at halftime, very disappointing quarter from Williamstown. Can't think of many Willi players who got near it that quarter.

Not enough quality in the Willy midfield. Full of plodders and fumblers.

Geelong has too much pace and polish. West is destroying Wood in the ruck.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Geelong just a class above Willi, winning more of it through the midfield, using it better, and applying better pressure defensively. Can't see Willi turning it around.

Not many Bulldog players putting in a great performance, and as always the Williamstown senior players having poor games in the big one.

Also a Patties pie at North Port oval costs more than at Etihad Stadium. Unbelievable!

Pretty poor effort from Willi losing by 80 plus points.

Looks like Jong may have done his knee, lets hope its not too serious.

End of an era - Goodbye Willi, hello Footscray.

Actually fell asleep and missed most of the game apart from the first quarter. Woke up in the 4th just in time to see Jong go down with a knee injury. Devastated for the kid if it's an ACL.

Geelong had 16 AFL listed players and Willy had 9.

And 2 of ours were delisted weeks ago.

Not much to write home about, though Tutt kicked 2 nice running goals and kept trying for the whole game. Easily the best of the Bulldogs players.

Tutt wasn't much better than Pearce or Roberts. Just not a great day for Williamstown.

Congratulations to the Williamstown development side on the premiership. Bad luck to Williamstown the 'senior' team.

I had an premonition how devastating it would be if one of our players got seriously injured.
                        Hopefully it's not serious.
Thought Talia looked injured, and Tutt was the best.
Willy's midfield looked one paced, and the Cats looked slick and skillfull.
Their recruiting has just been exceptional.

I thought Pearce tried hard, but Roberts' last two weeks have been concerning. Lacks a yard and his positioning up forward is pretty poor. I thought his ruck work was ok though. Do you know if it's a fitness issue?

Easy for most to say and now I will be Footscray supporter and as much as my old man would disagree some off us have some allegiance to Wiily.

Same goes for me, having gone to both Footscray and Willy games as a young child with the family idolizing Fotheringham, Round, Wheeler, Kennedy etc but also Templeton, Jennings, Dunstan, Hawkins etc.....I'll stick with Willy in the VFL on the basis that this is their senior side, I'll still follow the 'Scray off course when they don't play each other.

Since Sunshine passed I have followed both Willi and Werribee so am happy to now say I am a Footscray supporter. Saying that I still call the Western Bulldogs Footscray .
