Re: Lower league coach movements
Same way most ex afl legends do in local footy. Came out and made stupid statements about other sides, the league, players and generally just thought he should get anything he wanted. Didn't really understand the landscape. Not in my league but close by and a heap of mates play for and against him. Stamped his feet every time something went wrong. Didn't make many friends.Comment

Not sure if that's right he coached the under age side their and they loved him.
I understand stupid statements though he isn't the smartest bloke but so
Lovable.
From what I heard the club wanted him to go
On but he didn't want to, apparently a bit of politics at the club.
In saying all this I could be wrong but that's the story I am hearing.Bring back the biffComment

Laughable watching the way they were operating when he was senior coach though. Very naïve. Not the strongest club though so he might have had bad advice.Comment

Scott West quits as Werribee coach as Dogs return looms
Scott West has quit as Werribee coach after two seasons, citing a desire to seek other coaching opportunities.
West, who has been linked to a return to the Western Bulldogs as its new stand alone VFL coach next season, took Werribee to preliminary finals in both seasons as coach.
He arrived at Werribee after being a midfield coach at Melbourne and virtually swapped positions with outgoing Tigers coach Paul Satterley, who only this season under new Demons coach Paul Roos, has been made redundant.
Werribee chief Mark Penaluna said West had been a valuable contributor in his time at the Tigers.

"Scott showed he is a very knowledgeable football person with the coaching ability to take our club to two preliminary finals and that is a credit to his planning and preparation," Penaluna said.
"The club wants to thank Scott for his contribution to the Werribee Football Club and we wish him well for his future endeavours in football."
West is thought to be in the mix for the Bulldogs role along with current development coaches Peter German and Chris Maples.
West has developed some key Werribee players including North Melbourne's latest father-son pick Luke McDonald, who shone during the VFL finals. Tall forward Ben Brown is also a likely AFL draft target after a supreme season.
Werribee's search for a new coach comes as Williamstown announced former Hawthorn premiership player and West Adelaide coach Andy Collins as its new coach when it goes stand-alone from next season.
Collins will join his former Hawthorn premiership team-mate Gary Ayres (Port Melbourne) back in the VFL coaching ranks.
Meanwhile, Port Melbourne has undergone some radical changes with experienced players Wayde Skipper, Dean Galea, Clayton Hinkley, Adrian Bonaddio, Myles Pitt and Michael Dillon all leaving the club.
The Borough, however, are poised to secure Sandringham skipper Marcus Marigliani, who has left the Zebras.Comment

Scotty may be in the hunt for the temporary Essendon spot too.
