    Well that looked pretty good.

I know it is a highlights package, but he looked good in th contest. Impressed also by a couple of terrific long handballs.

It seems that every fan considers him a waste of space, but just maybe there is something there.

He's having a good run of form for Footscray at the moment. I think he's better learnt to play within his limitations this year. He's handballing far more often, and when he has to kick, it's more often short and sideways to prevent clangers. I still don't know how much value at AFL level a defender, who's not a pure lockdown type but who can't hurt with their disposal, can be.

        Don't undersell Howard, he's a tremendous slouch.

Deserves a shot on form . This could define his career as an AFL footballer this second half of the season.

It has to Remi. If he doesn't show something he won't be there next year.

What type of role do you think they will try him in?

I know it was only highlights but he did kick long and well.

I also watched the live game on ABC and again his long kicking was good in that game.

It's a lot more miss than it is hit, and under pressure it's almost exclusively miss. I do really hope he's found something because we'd kill for what he was supposed be when we drafted him, I just don't see it happening unfortunately.

He had a bad habit of trying to do too much with it when going forward and either shanking or under kicking it (trying to kick bullet passes but instead giving blokes half volleys to deal with) over the last couple of years. Also very indecisive when his confidence is low.

I've always maintained that I think there is something there regardless.

It will be interesting to see how he goes. I don't doubt there will be times when his defensive side will let him down, as no player on our list bar one or two doesn't have some glaring deficiencies to work on, though if his intensity is up and he uses the ball well enough (and gets a decent amount of it) then it will be a good start.

wse makes as solid point. He needs to be considered, but decisive with his kicking. It's the first step - beyond being disciplined and hard working - towards him becoming an asset to the team.

I wish him good luck, as unlike a lot of others I have seen glimpses of a player (mainly in 2012 against Geelong and Brisbane).
                        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I also recall him playing very well in Perth a few years ago.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Today highlighted why this Spud should never be given another AFL game.

Timid, lazy, one sided and slow.

Gets an on the full, and kicks it out on the full. WTF....

Not even Harrison or Wells could match that. We need to cut our losses. One of the hardest things to do in life is admit you were wrong.

The powers in charge won't admit keeping him was wrong or Gia still subbing. It's stubborn and unfair on us who stump up every year expecting our best efforts being players, MC of coaches and match day coaching.
