Northport Oval.



I assume this game will be ABC game of the round but I wouldn't mind getting down to Northport to see the game.

Do any woofers have advice on where to park or is public transport somehow an option?

You should be able to find parking around the ground, I always have.

All of the Bulldogs interchange listed at this point, so obviously at least 4 of them will not play against Port Melbourne.
Also possible for 1 extra to be held over as match day emergency for Sunday.

As it the TV game we should at least see how some are going with a strong VFL opponent this week.

If going by public transport, get the 109 tram outside Southern Cross station, and get off at North Port stop.. Its about 150m from the ground. Normally a fair bit of parking around Bunnings on Williamstown Rd, quite a few just use it as a public car park, as there are many more spots that Bunnings would ever use.

If it's wet, I think Port will go in favorites, if it's dry (enough) I think that the 'Scrays talls will be tough to match up on.

Port as always have a lot of big bodies in the midfield. Baird, Pinwall etc. Like facing a rough and tough country football midfield. Footscray should have more class but we might learn a bit about those who play in the midfield. Goodes will probably love it.
