Footscray and the ABC

Just watching the game today , Port v Tigers and the ABC are in love with us and the way we are progressing, they have mentioned us and how we are building,and it's not even a game we are involved in.
At one stage Baird had a shot at goal from the pocket, he missed and the commentators first reaction was" he is no Bontempelli"
I seriously think the media , AFL and VFL are noticing something very special is happening at Footscray/bulldogs.
I'm excited with what I'm seeing and hearing more than ever.

I noticed it as well, bit hard not too! They also had a discussion along the lines of how there must be a much better future for a AFL team like Western Bulldogs, with a VFL team like Footscray compared to Richmond's future.

Likened us to Geelong and hawthorn, nice comparison :-)

Then proceeded to hammer Melbourne and Richmond, I guess it's all about development and winning culture even at VFL level
