Would be good to see him slide to us, hard to see, but we're a fair way off from the ND.

That's as good as any rumour I've heard so far this year.

How ready is he for AFL footy? Could he play 15 games next year?
I wouldn't bank on 15 from any first year KPP recruits. He's a very good talent.

I'm actually with Soupaman on this one - it's not a surprise for me. I would be surprised (and dissapointed) if we didn't. How would we even know whether or not hes the kinda guy we want to trade for without talking to him and running him through the Macca-Good person test?
I would also imagine that we would meet with all the top prospects considering we will have an early pick. In an article yesterday about St Kilda possibly trading the number 1 pick their recruiting manager Tony Elshaug said he still had around 60 home visits to potential draftees to make. That would be on top of those he had already visited. The recruiters cast their net wide.
Is there a difference between meeting a player now and interviewing them at say the ND?
Looking at the ladder right now and the teams below us who may want a key forward:
Saints Definitely
Dees Maybe, probably not
GWS Not likely
Lions Definitely
Carlton also may finish below us and may want a key forward.
